“When's the next bus?” — the fastest answers on iPhone
You don't want a journey planner — you want to know if it's worth walking to the stop. Here is the fastest path to that answer on an iPhone, from slowest to fastest.
Four doors to the same answer
Open the app
Vidona opens straight to the stops around you, closest first, with live TfL countdowns. The board renders from cache instantly, then refreshes — no city to pick, no search.
Search your stop in Spotlight
Swipe down on the Home Screen and type a few letters of a favourite stop's name. The stop appears as a result; tap it and the live board is on screen.
Ask Siri
Say “Show nearby departures in Vidona” — it lands directly on the nearby board. No unlock-and-hunt.
Press the Action Button
On iPhones with an Action Button, map it to Vidona's nearby departures. One press, board on screen.
Frequently asked
Do I need to type my location?
No — Vidona uses your location once, to fetch the stops near you from TfL. Your coordinates go to the transit agency only, never to a Vidona server.
Does it work outside London?
Yes — the same app covers Helsinki, Berlin and Rome with local live data, and switches automatically when you travel.
Is it really free?
Yes — free on the App Store, ad-supported in the app. Widgets stay ad-free and there's no account or paywall.

Your stop, before you ask.
Vidona shows live departures for the stops around you the moment it opens — then keeps them on your Lock Screen, in Spotlight, and a sentence to Siri away.
